Effective January 1, 2010,
rule
10.500 of the California Rules of Court set forth comprehensive public
access provisions applicable to the judicial administrative records
maintained by state trial and appellate courts, the Judicial Council, and
the Administrative Office of the Courts.
Judicial Administrative Records
Judicial administrative records relate to the operation of the
court, such as budget information.
Please direct requests for access to judicial administrative records
maintained by the Superior Court to:
Ms. Caryn A. Downing,
Court Executive Officer
Superior Court of California, County of Mendocino
100 North State Street, Room 302
Ukiah, CA 95482
The court will make identifiable judicial administrative records available
upon request, unless the records are exempt from disclosure under rule
10.500. Records may be subject to payment of a fee.
Case-Related Records
Judicial administrative records do not include court case records. If
you are looking for criminal records, traffic tickets, judgments, etc.,
these are not administrative records, and you should contact the Court
Clerk's office. Click on a link under Court Divisions for the division
that would maintain the type of records you are looking for.
