Serious Traffic Violation Codes

The California Department of Motor Vehicles Code 42005(f) states the court may not order a person to attend traffic violator school to dismiss an offense if the person was issued a Notice to Appear for a serious traffic violation that occurred in a commercial vehicle.  The following is a list of the Codes which are considered Serious Traffic Violations:
